Mookie/RemBran Again? October 22, 2008

Seriously? Does she need her own “The Drama of Mookie Doodle” blog? I mean come on…

Rembran

For anyone in transactions with Rembran she is in the hospital with ruptured ovarian cysts. She is supposed to be discharged today and hopefully she can return any messages within the next few days.

I’m not too savvy with the messaging system here so if you need to reach her in an extreme emergency you can email me -her husband- at kevandjenndavis@aol.com and I’ll pass the message on to her asap.

If it’s not an emergency I’m sure she will be able to help you in a few days.

thanks- kldavis

Mods dictating FSOT prices? October 19, 2008

So now mods on DS can tell us just how much we are allowed to sell our items for?

http://www.diaperswappers.com/forum/showthread.php?p=5127352

Can we sell these? Posted by: jollygoodANDgreen

Items we bought from participating in a co-op? I thought I remember seeing somewhere that it wasn’t allowed? I was in the pf co-op, bought a lot & now don’t want them   LMK, thanks!

Re: Can we sell these? Posted by: lovemygirls (senior moderator)

yes, you can sell them….for what you paid in the co-op.

So how are they enforcing that? Across the board? Or just for items that aren’t GoodMamas? Didn’t we already say that price fixing is illegal?

And just for the record, the OP has one of the cutest AVIs!

More from DS’s “Anyone know what ‘happened’ to diapertraders?” October 15, 2008

Looks like Sam / Scamantha has really dug her hole deep this time… Some how DT drama is showing up all over DS lately.

Just an FYI, Please note that Diaper Traders (www.diapertraders.com) is sending out viruses. My opinion is that my Pop-Up blocker and Virus Software were working overtime after doing some research there this AM. Please don’t log in/visit over there unless you have the proper protection ;)

IMO people have to buy online stuff with credit card paypal, not with funded. Let your credit card company chase her.

Basically Sam approached me via yahoo instant messenger and asked me if I was interested in doing a trade for web work/advertising because she needed trainers for her daughter. I was very busy planning a big move but I saw it as a good investment so I agreed. We worked out the details and  on July 15th I posted pics of the trainers in a thread on diaper traders  http://www.diapertraders.com/vb/showthread.php?t=61635 (I deleted my DT photo album so the pic doesn’t show up now). I shipped the trainers to Sam on July 17th with tracking number http://trkcnfrm1.smi.usps.com/PTSInternetWeb/InterLabelInquiry.do?origTrackNum=9101150134711305716976 it was delivered to Sam July 21st 2008. I was dealing with my move and did not get back online until September 25th 2008. I have not had any contact with Sam at all. She has not answered PMs on DT, emails nor yahoo IM.  This transaction has cost me so much beyond the trainers themselves, I am just sick.

co-ops@diapertraders.com, spaige@surewest.net)
eBay user ID: N/A
Date ordered: Paid for items in the co-op on July 14th
Products/services purchased: This was a co-op run on her board,
DiaperTraders.com, for Bambu Kitchen items
Price paid: $523.69 USD
Estimated turn around time: As it was a co-op, there were no hard
dates, however, two weeks to get from the company and then would
expect the host to be able to ship within about a week.
Actual turn around time: To get to the host, there was a delay in
ordering which we weren’t informed of straight away and excuses as to
why the company couldn’t receive her order. It was over three weeks
before the company shipped (Aug 6) due to these delays. It was over
four weeks by the time it got to the host (Aug 13th). She then
promised to have things organized and shipped in the next couple of
days, only a few orders were.
I was promised again and again and again that my items would be
shipped. Mine is more complex as I’m international, I asked for a
quote for USPS w/ tracking and insurance due to the order size and was
suggested to go with UPS. UPS is a huge issue coming into Canada so we
agreed on her shipping to the board UPS store for me to pick-up. It
took over three weeks before it was shipped (Sept 4th).
Was product as expected? Mostly. The out-of-stock items weren’t there,
as expected, however, this is another issue as it was weeks before the
list of out-of-stock items was listed.
There were several other items missing as well for no particular
reason. As a result I was owed a refund for the items not received as
well as the shipping to host paid up front (20%) plus there was 5% of
the items received as shipping to the host was only 15%.
If not why?
Did you contact the person about the problem(s)? Many, many times,
through private messages and on diapertraders.com One thread after
another that discusses this and the issues I have, along with others,
has been deleted. If anyone starts to get upset about being out money
or items, the post or thread gets deleted.
If so, how did they attempt to resolve? I had a paypal claim in and
she got plain nasty about me trying to scam her. Paypal indicated she
could send money back to me while the claim was there, I called them
twice. She indicated that paypal told her they couldn’t. She accused
me of being the reason she couldn’t refund anyone else. There was just
over $37 in her account in the end, not even enough to reimburse me my
$108.
The overall communications skills through this entire thing were
pathetic. We got at best one sentence updates that left out the
details required. Many in addition to myself are out money still. If
we ask about refunds we’ve all been spoken to very unpleasantly.
Would you do business with again? No way in heck. This is so far
beyond ridiculous I don’t know what to day. I had participated in
quite a lot of co-ops on DiaperTraders run by other hosts and had
great experiences. I didn’t think twice about doing a co-op with Sam
since it was her site, boy was that a mistake.

Where can I post to warn about a wahm that has a history of doing chargebacks…fraud (http://www.diaperswappers.com/forum/showthread.php?t=575651)

Where can I post to warn about a wahm that has a history of doing chargebacks…fraud
I certainly DO NOT want to get into any trouble, but is there somewhere here that I can post about a wahm that did MANY chargebacks on people here and another forum I go to….Well, she has a Hyena cart now and has instock customs available and this wahm SCAMMED SO SO SO many mamas. There was even fraud charges filed against her….I emailed HC about her and I feel like she is going to do this again. I can’t just sit back and let it happen. This was last year but we are talking over $1000 of scamming! I left feedback here, and the Juicy apple report and there was even a yahoo group about her. But that was all last year….so it’s really old and not fresh in anyones minds….Gosh this sucks, I hate to think that she could do this again I that there is no where I can get the word out. Even if I can do it with out “outting” her HC …… please, what can I do? I just KNOW she is going to do it again….. I know it.
I’m stumped, anyone know who she’s talking about??

What you need to know is that we have been receiving many PMs and comments attacking us for what is happening – blaming us as if it were our fault this happened. After so many comments, it starts to get annoying.

I know that shelling out $100 is a lot of money! I don’t even have it should I need to use it. But again, consider the cost we have of repairing the damage done to our servers and forum. Consider the hours we now have to spend reverting to the state we were at. People fail to realize that this probably affects the board owner, and admin a whole lot worse than the members.

I am sympathetic to what our community is going through and I would never in a million years consciously allow something like this to happen on purpose. So, forgive me for my mean comment and please have a little compassion for what we are dealing with at the moment.

Getting fiesty over yarn… October 8, 2008

4oz wool yarn plus matching trim! (http://www.diaperswappers.com/forum/showthread.php?t=568913)

usnavypride 10-07-2008 11:31 AM

4oz wool yarn plus matching trim!
The yarn is from Family Pendragon Yarn and Crochet on Hyena Cart. This is her description from this yarn
“This is 4 ounces plus trim of what was supposed to be Aran BFL. Upon washing and dyeing it appeared to me that the colorway skein was either Bulky BFL or Gaia Bulky Organic Merino. The trim is Aran BFL. I see a very pretty soaker or newborn longies out of this pretty new colorway “Antique Roses” featuring soft apricot, pale rose pink, and buttercream.”

This is her description on for the Gaia as she doesn’t have a description of the other one. :headscratch:
“Gaia Organic Merino Bulky – 100% organic merino yarn, bulky weight, 4 ounce skein / 153 yards. Gauge: 3-4 sts per inch, 10 wraps per inch, needle size 10-11. A very smoothly plied, bouncy and well-defined yarn that is virtually free from any debris. . Takes dye in a softer, lighter, and often warmer way. Always a customer favorite and dreamy to work with!
$22.00 per 4 oz skein “.

I was going to try to crochet shorties but now that I’ve done some practicing on basic crocheting because it’s been awhile I’m afraid I’ll just put this pretty yarn to waste

Her minimum fee for 4 oz of yarn is $22 so I’m asking $22.00PPD Which is like getting the trim and shipping for free :-) They’re brand new, I just got them in the mail and still in the plastic baggie. I’d just rather get something I will use since I’m too afraid of messing up the crocheting. :giggle2: I will trade for things on my ISO list.

I’m going to get more from her later when I get more practice in… or maybe I can convince my grandma to make something for me…. I’m just sitting her looking at it going it’s SO pretty I don’t feel like I could do them justice :-(

Re: 4oz wool yarn plus matching trim!
wasn’t this yarn from a FFS lottery? :headscratch:
usnavypride 10-08-2008 02:03 PM

Re: 4oz wool yarn plus matching trim!
I did not get it through the diaperswappers free for shipping section so do NOT imply that, I got it on hyena cart. There are no stipulations on hyena cart what you do with the items you purchase or win in a lottery. I really think it is none of your business what I do with my items. Any items I have been blessed with through diaperswappers FFS section I have marked as such so that I will not resell them, the ones that are still in good condition when we are done with them will be passed on to miraclediapers. However those from hyena cart are not being FFS’d because of need (even though we are in need), they are so the sellers can allow people to try out their items and so they can build up their feedback. PLEASE stop being nosy and keep your nose where it belongs. If you don’t like an item I’m offering then just close the window.

 Do your thing. I do want to add that Melissa at Family Pendragon is an AMAZING wahm with the best customer service

Another WAHM who is in over her head… October 7, 2008

Or is she just a liar and scammer?

http://www.diaperswappers.com/forum/showthread.php?t=552152

I’m tired of this! I’m tired of a particular wahm pretending she’s not receiving my messages on here, by email, and on hyena cart. It’s pretty darn ironic that out of three different ways of messaging none of my messages are being received. I’m tired of being told that due to family or personal circumstances I must wait longer because she is way behind, yet I see some of the very items I requested via custom being sold on her hyena cart. I’m tired of her hyena cart being stocked regularly when she is in fact so far behind on customs. I’m tired of being nice and not leaving negative feedback because I’m way over the allotted paypal claim period and I feel if I offend her I will lose my money. I’m tired of shady wahms giving other wahms a bad name.

If you can’t keep up with the work load stop taking customs and stop making excuses about your situation and pretending that none of the messaging systems work for you. Stop ignoring me!

I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!!!

UPDATE:
After being told that this particular wahm is ill and I will have to wait longer for her relatives to finish up her orders I asked for a refund. Ignored. Contacted hyena Cart admin and asked yet again for another refund. Left feedback and finally received a reply. It seems MY money has already been spent on copays and so I am being denied a refund because of their financial situation, but alas I’m still seeing her cart being stocked and ppl are still receiving their orders. This just sucks!

UPDATE 10/07/2008:

I have received a few PMs and direct emails from the JAR report from mamas who went through a similar experience with this wahm. I was really struggling between feeling guilty about pushing the issue and angry because I thought she was lying about everything. The mamas that messaged me ended up leaving feedback because they felt sorry for her situation and some were afraid of retaliatory action. I completely understand the position they were in but I just wanted to tell everyone please please leave appropriate feedback no matter what the circumstances. You can still leave positive feedback if you truly believe there is something going on out of the wahm’s control, but at least mention that it took months to receive the item, or whatever the situation maybe. You can leave constructive criticism that would help other customers tremendously and not be offensive to the wahm. I would not have purchased from this wahm had I known the true feedback history. I’m going to make sure the next customer makes an informed decision before purchasing. I’m also hoping by lighting a fire under her others will receive their purchases quickly and in good condition.

As for my situation I’m going to give her exactly one week from the date of the last email she sent me… if my complete order is not to me or is incorrect in any way I’m taking legal action. I’ve heard enough to know that something fishy is going on and I’m not going to be stepped on any longer.

Here are her excuses starting in July:

Bad Apple Little Green Elephant (Diaper Swappers username StacyW)

Posted by: “theleachfamily”

Mon Oct 6, 2008 4:47 pm (PDT)

Name of business: Little Green Elephant (Hyena Cart)

Name of business owner/buyer/trader(first and last): Stacy Walker

E-mail address: reklaws@comcast.net

Date ordered: July 18, 2008

Purchase price: $108.50

Products purchased: Custom order of unpaper towels, wipes, and family
cloth

Estimated turn around time: I was on a customs list but it was a short
list and we are talking about small squares of cloth here. I’d say 3
weeks max.

Actual Turn around time: Have not received items or refund… it’s
been nearly three months

After no communication for weeks I was preparing to file a PP claim
but then I received an email from Stacy saying my order would be
shipped out within 10 days.. pushing me over the allotted time to file
a claim.

Two weeks later I still hadn’t received my items so I emailed her
numerous times. She finally emailed me stating that she wasn’t
receiving PMs on DS or emails and that she had broken her foot so I
would have to wait longer to receive my items.

I waited again then sent her more emails. A week later she emailed me
back stating that my order was almost finished and she would ship it
out immediately. Then she asked me if I could list what I had
purchased and how many of each item.

Another couple weeks passed and her husband emails me stating that
Stacy is ill and they don’t know when she will be better but her mom
and sister are taking over her orders. I will have to wait until they
are able to work on them.

At that point I copied all my paypal transaction info and sent it to
them requesting a refund. Days passed no response. I go to her hyena
cart and email her there again asking for a refund and letting her
know that i will take legal action if necessary. Still no response. In
the meantime other customers have received their orders and her cart
is regularly stocked, some of the items on her cart are part of what I
ordered in my custom. She has not officially refused a refund, she is
just claiming that she doesn’t receive PMs or emails therefore must
not be receiving my requests. Right!

I don’t know if this is the right place to respond to this, however I feel like I need to address this.

I haven’t been online consistently for over a week and my husband has been checking my emails. Anyway, Tara has been emailed with a resolution to this situation, and it should be done. Tara placed a huge order with me, and I had told her the turn around time would be longer than usual. My normal turn around is 2-4 weeks. I have tried to have excellent customer service and answer emails promptly, but as will all families things come up.

As most of my customers know, I was recently diagnosed with a serious illness as a result of my broken ankle earlier in the summer, and have gotten way behind on orders due to treatments, etc. My mom and my sister are helping me to fill these orders right now. I honestly am swamped right now, because I closed a co-op less than 10 days before the diagnosis.

Any of my customers that may be concerned where there order is, are free to email me at reklaws@comcast.net This is not the way I do business and my excellent feedback on DS and on my HC can attest to this.

I have officially been refused a refund, this is an email I just
received from Stacy’s husband:

“just out of curiosity, is your order the owl towels and plain wipes?
if so, that order looks like it is ready to go, and i can have my
mother in law take care of it. i would like to refund, but we are
struggling financially due to stacy’s copays and i am trying to get it
all figured out with the orders.”

It seems as though my money has already been spent before receiving my
order. I’ve heard the, it’s ready to go excuse before and I’m not
buying it.

Sam at Diapertraders customized my HC store and we added a few additional pages linking to the store which was hosted on her servers.

Well the site has been down for days (I get a “Forbidden” message from the web that I don’t have access to that page) and so are my store pages :banghead:

Anyone know anything about this?

Has diapertraders gone belly up?

Thanks for any tidbits of info you may have to share…

Kate

Opinion: this is a blessing in disguise.
