Ive reported posts but Can we get the ticker rule stickied again??? ive seen tons with tickers, especially in TTC and pregnancy. Also, can it be CLEARLY stated in the rules that you cant have small tickers either? it says pics can be a certain size and people seem to think because of that they can have small tickers.

I’ve read it plenty of times. My “ticker” is 150 wide by 35 high. If there is a problem with this ticker, it’s been in my siggy for the last 3-4 months and no mod has ever said anything.

Bird should just hang it up already. She’s already on a ton of Do Not B/S/T Lists. Does she think posts like this will help her out? And honestly, I have dial up, but the tickers aren’t the things that bog me down. It’s all those damn blinkies. I hate when people have like 3 or 4 in their siggy. THAT is annoying. A pregnancy ticker? Not so much.

I have seen a few other mamas with tickers. There is one who had 3 Lilypie mini-tickers in her siggy. But, what do I care?

She PMd me and when I told her my ticker was fine, she got pissed and PMd me saying “NO TICKERS” were allowed and it didn’t matter how small they were, and if I didn’t believe her to PM a mod and they’d say the same thing. I told her I knew I wasn’t breaking any rules, but thanks anyway. THAT’s when she posted this thread, like a big baby because I didn’t listen to her.

Yep, funny thing is, it wasn’t illegal. The woman she flogged for it was perfectly within the dimmensions allowed. She needs to get off DS once in a while. We have enough over-zealous mods (though some are great- just adding my disclaimer), we certainly don’t need wanna-be’s trying to run the show.

Interesting… I got a PM from a mod a month or so ago telling me my sig graphics weren’t acceptable sizes and telling me (rather snarkily) to refer to the rules. Funny thing was, I was within the rules- guess I’m not the one who needs to read up…

actually i didnt threaten to hurt my son- i can show you proof of that too.
but yes i dont have my son because CPS took him away (i got him back 2w later AFTER THEY SAW I WASNT A THREAT) and his dad used it against me in court feb22 2006 and on June 30,2006 i lost custody.
